INTRODUCING HAZE

Alter the texture of your films.

• Choose from four different effects to add cinematic diffusion to your images.

Soften the harsh edges, smoothen skin, create a glow.

• Create filmic, dreamy, or just plain stylistic imagery.

Take the digital out of your footage.

It takes more than adding film grain to achieve the film look. And with digital camera resolutions getting higher and higher, the added sharpness is taking your footage right back to the dreaded “video” look.

haze vs physical lens filters

Convenience

Save time on set. No time wasted switching out filters, adjusting the filters to fit different lenses.

Save money. Haze is less expensive than one glass filter; not to mention a collection of filters, when you want to achieve a variety of looks.

Commitment

As in, NO commitment. Don’t tie your film down to a look that you might later regret. I’ve made that mistake, on my most important music video at the time. And at 800,000 views later I still regret that filter choice, it ruined the look of the video.

Haze is applied in post, so when you change your mind the next day, no problem.

Control

Physical filters are lovely, but the effect that a filter offers is very take it or leave it. With Haze’s adjustable controls it offers such an expansive assortment of possible combinations, physical filters don’t come close to the variety of looks achievable.

color

Haze preserves the natural color of your camera’s sensors. Whereas glass filters are known to tint the color of footage one way or another. Some filters are worse than others. But it’s common knowledge that the more glass there is for the light to pass through to reach the sensor, the more likely the image will change along the way.

Fowluh

I’m Isaac Fowler also known as fowluh. I’ve been filmmaking for the last 10 years yada yada yada.

I developed Haze as a way to create different textures for my films, to make them more stylistic. I actually first started with an early version of Mist, next I created what would become Haze, and more recently I developed Dust.

Pro editor friends of mine kept asking about the filters I’d been using, and they convinced me to package them up. I added Halo, and this effects pack was born.

From one creator to another, I really appreciate your support.
